Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PKM) “Sosialisasi Aksi Sadar Lingkungan” dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Kota Sorong dengan melibatkan kolaborasi antara mahasiswa Semester 6 Program Studi Manajemen Sumber Daya Perairan (MSDP) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong (Unamin), staf LPSPL Sorong, serta siswa kelas 5 SD Muhammadiyah 1. Kegiatan ini merupakan bagian dari Mata Kuliah Pengendalian Pencemaran Perairan yang bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran dan aksi peduli lingkungan melalui pengelolaan sampah secara tepat di lingkungan sekolah. Metode sosialisasi meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, demonstrasi pengelolaan sampah, serta praktik pengolahan sampah yang melibatkan siswa secara aktif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya menjaga kebersihan lingkungan dan langkah-langkah konkret dalam pengelolaan sampah, yang diharapkan dapat membentuk perilaku peduli lingkungan sejak dini. Kegiatan ini mendukung upaya pelestarian sumber daya perairan dan lingkungan hidup di Kota Sorong melalui partisipasi aktif sivitas akademika dan masyarakat sekolah.
