Articles Processing Charge
All articles published in our journals are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. This is made possible by an article-processing charge (APC) that covers the range of publishing services we provide. This includes a provision of online tools for editors and authors, article production and hosting, liaison with abstracting and indexing services, and customer services. With an article-processing charge (APC) which is considered sufficient, then we do not ask the author to pay an article-submission charge. The APC, payable when your manuscript is editorially accepted and before publication, is charged to either you or your funder, institution or employer.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
WHO HANDLES THE PAYMENT RESPONSIBILITY?
If you are the corresponding author of the manuscript, you must ensure payment is made (either personally or through your institution) once the editors accept your manuscript for publication.
WHEN IS THE PAYMENT AMOUNT DETERMINED?
The publication fee is established when you first submit your manuscript. This set amount remains unchanged even if the journal later modifies its standard pricing.
PAYMENT TIMING AND PROCESS
After your article receives editorial approval, you'll receive a payment notification. Unless you've been granted a fee exemption or your organization covers the expense, you must arrange payment promptly. Publication cannot proceed until payment is completed. The required fee is IDR 500,000 to cover review and production expenses.
AVAILABLE PAYMENT OPTIONS
Bank transfer is accepted online or offline through a teller bank to our designated account. Following your transfer, you must confirm payment by emailing us the transaction receipt. We will verify and acknowledge receipt of your payment.
ARE FEE WAIVERS AVAILABLE FOR FINANCIAL HARDSHIP?
We don't evaluate waiver requests based on individual financial circumstances or funding shortfalls, as we believe our fees are reasonably priced and accessible.
FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES
Numerous grant organizations permit using research funds for publication fees. Growing numbers of funding bodies actively promote open access publishing.
