JUSTISI Journal is a Law Journal published by the Faculty of Law, University of Muhammadiyah Sorong (UNAMIN) with (p-ISSN: 1979-7532, e-ISSN: 2686-0821). The purpose of the JUSTISI Journal is as a means to improve research for academics and legal practitioners in accordance with National Standards. JUSTISI is published three times a year, in January, May and September. JUSTISI focuses on the study of legal issues in Indonesia and internationally which include State Administration Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, International Law, Procedural Law, Customary Law, Business Law, Legal Comparison, Environmental Law, Information Technology Law and Electronic Transactions, and Human Rights Law. Based on the Decree of the Director General of Higher Education, Research and Technology of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Number 0041/E5.3/HM.01.00/2023 concerning Notification of Scientific Journal Accreditation Results for Period III of 2022, in 2023 JUSTISI Journal was ranked III (SINTA 3) National Journal Accreditation.

Law in Transition: Regulatory Reform, Law Enforcement, and the Challenges of Justice in Indonesia

JUSTISI Journal invites academics, researchers, legal practitioners, and legal observers to submit their best scientific articles for a Special Issue that critically and deeply examines the dynamics of contemporary law in Indonesia.

Sub-themes (but not limited to):
  1. Implementation of the National Criminal Code and its implications for human rights
  2. Agrarian conflicts and the protection of indigenous peoples
  3. Digital law, cybercrime, and personal data protection
  4. Judicial reform and the integrity of law enforcement officials
General Requirements:
  • Articles must be original and unpublished
  • Use a normative, empirical, or socio-legal approach
  • Written in English
  • Manuscript length: 6,000–10,000 words (including references)
  • Follow the template and style of JUSTISI Journal
  • No publication fees (for external authors)
