Pendidikan Kesadaran Sosial Remaja untuk Mencegah Konflik dan Intoleransi di Sekolah

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesadaran sosial remaja dalam mencegah konflik dan intoleransi di sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di MTS Muhammadiyah Kota Sorong melalui pendekatan partisipatif, seperti edukasi nilai sosial, pelatihan empati dan toleransi, serta diskusi kasus sosial. Metode yang digunakan mencakup ceramah interaktif, role play, dan studi kasus untuk membantu siswa memahami perbedaan dan menyelesaikan konflik secara damai. Sebanyak 40 siswa kelas VIII dan IX terlibat dalam program ini. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya empati, komunikasi efektif, dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman. Peserta juga mampu mengidentifikasi penyebab konflik serta merumuskan strategi pencegahannya. Program ini berhasil menumbuhkan kesadaran sosial dan memperkuat nilai toleransi, serta diharapkan dapat berlanjut melalui kerja sama sekolah dan lembaga terkait guna menciptakan lingkungan pendidikan yang damai dan inklusif.
