Sungai Kampung Salak di Kota Sorong, Papua Barat Daya, merupakan sumber air yang vital bagi masyarakat setempat.
Namun kualitas air sungai menjadi perhatian karena berbagai faktor lingkungan dan antropogenik. Penelitian ini bertujuan
untuk menganalisis parameter fisik dan kimia. Metodologi penelitiannya adalah dengan mengumpulkan sampel air dengan
tiga ulangan yang diambil pada pagi, siang dan sore hari. Sampel dianalisis di Laboratorium Teknik Lingkungan Fakultas
Universitas Muhammadiyah dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa parameter fisik seperti suhu, conducticity, dan TDS setempat berada dalam batas
yang dapat diterim, parameter kimia seperti pH. Nilai pH berkisar antara 6,5- 6,9. Nilai TDS berkisar 180-255 mg/L, Nilai
SALT 133-178 psu, Temperatur sebesar 30°C, dan nilai Conduktivity 2,75-38,1 µmho/cm.
