The scope of the Journal Noken: Social Sciences includes:
- Sociology and Social Dynamics: Covering studies on social change, social structure, social conflict, social integration, social stratification, social movements, rural communities, urban communities, and the dynamics of social life within communities.
- Political Science, Democracy and Governance: This covers studies of democracy, elections, political parties, political behaviour, political participation, political leadership, regional autonomy, local government, village governance, and the relationship between the state and society.
- Public Administration and Public Policy: Covers the study of public administration, public services, bureaucratic reform, policy implementation, policy evaluation, public sector innovation, accountability, and the management of public organisations.
- Communication, Media and the Digital Society: Covers the study of social communication, political communication, public communication, digital literacy, public opinion, media culture, social media, and the impact of digital technology on society.
- Anthropology, Culture and Local Wisdom: Covers the study of culture, social identity, indigenous communities, traditions, local values, social symbols, rituals, cultural change, and the preservation of local wisdom in community life.

Journal Noken: Social Sciences publishes research employing a variety of methodological approaches, including:
- Qualitative research (ethnography, case studies, phenomenology, data-driven theory)
- Quantitative research (experimental, quasi-experimental, survey-based)
- Mixed-methods research
- Systematic reviews and meta-analyses
- Action research and participatory approaches
All submitted manuscripts must be original works that have not been previously published and are not currently under review by another journal. Articles must meet the journal’s standards in terms of academic rigour, ethical integrity and scientific contribution
