Analisis Spektrum Absorbansi dan Fotoluminesensi Untuk Mempelajari Kandungan Nutrisi Buah Manggis

Manggis merupakan buah yang mengandung banyak manfaat sehingga penentuan kandungan dan nutrisi pada manggis merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan. Namun, metode pengujian yang ada memerlukan tahap ekstraksi yang cukup rumit dan membutuhkan kemampuan ahli. Sehingga diperlukan metode yang lebih sederhana seperti spektroskopi UV-Vis dan Fotoluminensi. Pada penelitian ini, analisis lebih dalam menggunakan metode turunan orde kedua spektrum absorbansi dan dekonvolusi spektrum fotoluminensi dilakukan untuk mengetahui senyawa nutrisi pada manggis. Dari hasil analisis turunan kedua spektrum absorbansi didapatkan tiga puncak serapan yaitu puncak pertama dan kedua pada panjang gelombang 220-320 nm yang merupakan serapan dari asam fenolik. Sedangkan puncak ketiga pada panjang gelombang 344-341 nm merupakan spektrum serapan dari antosianin. Analisis dekonvolusi spektrum fotoluminensi didapatkan tiga puncak emisi. Dari ketiga puncak tersebut, terdapat puncak emisi asam fenolik yaitu pada panjang gelombang 480 nm, 467 nm, dan 483 nm. Penelitian ini berhasil mengidentifikasi kandungan nutrisi dari buah manggis dengan metode spektroskopi dengan analisis yang lebih dalam.
