Peer Review Process
The review process is done in a closed way (double blind review) means reviewers and authors do not know each other. The number of reviewers involved is one person per article in the submit article process. The reviewers' assessment of the articles consists of content judgments, the appropriateness of the content to the journals, and the references used. The review process takes approximately 1 (two) weeks. The reviewer's engagement principle is based on the reviewer's competence in journal scholarship and involves reviewers from outside UM-Sorong.
Jurnal Riset Perikanan dan Kelautan Universitas Muhammadiyah Sorong is published twice in a year. The latest issue is published in February and July. Call paper for each issued minimally have to be submitted six months prior to the issued time.
Open Access Policy
This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
