Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of the family environment on student interest in learning in class 2 SDN 2 Kota Sorong in social studies subjects. The sample of this study amounted to 40 students in grade 2 SDN 2 Kota Sorong. The research method that has been used is quantitative survey. The data collection used is a questionnaire. So that this research gets the results of data analysis, namely X (variable family environment) affects Y (variable student interest in learning) grade 2 in social studies subjects at SDN 2 Kota Sorong has a positive direction. So that getting an average value (mean) of 28.02 is at a frequency of 40 (respondents) and a percentage of 72% of these circumstances indicate that the state of the family environment is quite good. Indicators in knowing the family environment is good enough, namely: how parents educate children, how parents relate to their children and how the family atmosphere is.
